Home-start In Waverley

The charity supports vulnerable families who have at least one child under the age of 5.
The charity recruits and trains volunteers, who know about being a parent, and support other parents in their own homes for a couple of hours a week. The charity provides ongoing support and guidance to the families and volunteers while working with other professionals to build confidence and resilience, giving the children the best start in life possible.

    The objects of the Charity are:

    a) to safeguard, protect and preserve the good health, both mental and physical of children and parents of children;
    b) to prevent cruelty to or maltreatment of children;
    c) to relieve sickness, poverty and need amongst children and parents of children;
    d) to promote the education of the public in better standards of child care

    within the borough of Waverley and its environs.
