Carmel Christian Centre

We provide a number of services to help our community of Tameside
For 10 years we have funded a debt centre and offer this as a free service to anyone in debit. This is supported by volunteers who help with visits, befriending the lonely, completing documents and transport to appointments.
We supply food and basic household goods to local families.
We run youth and children's activities, a craft group and offer the building to several community groups.
We have a community café three days a week

Founded 1950

  • Mission statement

We see our role very much as somewhere people can come to find help and support to deal with all aspects of life. We have a great network of voluntary and statutory organisations that we work in partnership with to improve the lives of people in our community.
We support people in need financially, emotionally, those in addiction, practically and spiritually to get things done and bring hope and a solution.
    Our mission statement is
Helping people in our community find solutions by offering hope and support
