Last Chance Animal Rescue Home

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Rescue and Re-homing charity for unwanted, abandoned and abused dogs, cats, rabbits and Guinea Pigs. We have two Rescue Centres based in Kent and currently are saving the lives of over 600 dogs and 300 cats each year. We ensure all animals we take are health checked, inoculated, id chipped, neutered and all leave our Centres with 4 weeks free pet insurance. We home check for every animal and offer full support if required once they are in their new homes.

Founded 1986

  • Mission statement

We are a no destruct animal rescue. We treat every animal whose life we have saved as if it were our own pet , providing the best quality accommodation, dietary needs, health care and lots of love until we find new and loving homes for each animal. We regularly rescue dogs that are on 'death row' in Welsh pounds and also on occasions take dogs from overseas who have no other hope of finding a home. We have committed and experienced staff and an on-site veterinary surgery to care for all our dogs, cats and small furries. We also have a large band of volunteers helping and supporting the charity in many diverse ways, everything from home checking, dog walking, fostering to fund raising.
We always take back any animal if asked, for whatever reason and care for them until another new home is sought. We do not have any age or health limit on any animal we take and do our very best to ensure every comfort and veterinary care is available to them- whatever the cost.
