Pregnancy Sickness Support

A national UK charity set up to support sufferers of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy and its severe form; Hyperemesis Gravidarum. We also work researching the cause and treatment of NVP and HG and produce educational and supportive information for sufferers, carers and health care professionals.

    Pregnancy Sickness Support is a registered UK Charity; Our aims are based on what we consider to be the current needs of women suffering with Nausea and Vomiting in Pregnancy and Hyperemesis Gravidarum as well as incorporating the needs of the Health Care Professionals and carers of women suffering with these conditions, which we review on an ongoing basis.
    They are as follows:
    To help those experiencing Nausea & Vomiting in Pregnancy and Hyperemesis Gravidarum by:-

    The provision of a help line and online forum to give information and support.

    The production of leaflets to explain about pregnancy sickness with helpful information for sufferers and carers.

    Offering information about treatments available for Pregnancy Sickness and Hyperemesis Gravidarum

    Providing resources & information to inform and educate doctors and health care professionals about the condition.

    Raising awareness of Pregnancy Sickness and Hyperemesis Gravidarum amongst the general public through articles and information.

    Encouraging further research into the condition, it's impact and its treatments.

  • Aims

    Pregnancy Sickness Support aims to:

    • Reduced isolation and anxiety amongst women suffering the condition.
    • Empowering women to seek effective treatment during pregnancy and, if planning another pregnancy, to ensure appropriate treatment plans are in place.
    • Improved physical and mental outcomes of pregnancies for sufferers of the condition.
    • Increased awareness of the condition amongst healthcare professionals and the general public to reduce stigma and misconceptions.
