YMCA Liverpool

YMCA Liverpool has a 170 year history of providing support, accommodation and guidance to people in times of need. We now work across the Liverpool City Region to provide services to homeless individuals, support and accommodation to young people, refuge and move on accommodation and support to households who have experienced domestic abuse, a specialist mental health service, accommodation based service to people with multiple and complex needs and a recovery based urban farm.

    Our Mission is to inspire and support people by promoting choice and independence.
    We do this through:
    Providing high quality, value for money temporary accommodation.
    Providing residential and support services for socially excluded individuals, including those with multiple and complex needs
    Promoting the highest quality holistic services through investing in our staff team.
    Delivering services in a Psychologically Informed Environment using a Cognitive Analytical Approach.
    Creating opportunity through the provision of therapeutic activities and meaningful activities.
    Ethical collaboration with other organisations whose values are in line with our own.

    YMCA Liverpool aims to:

    • Reduce homelessness in the city of Liverpool
    • Improve the health of people who have experienced homelessness including those with chronic conditions and/or issues around addiction.
    • Improve the life opportunities for children and young people who have experienced homelessness or have accessed temporary accommodation.
