Little Actors Theatre Company

Little Actors provides professionally led performing arts activities for children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in Neston and east London. Grants and funds raised ensure we offer half or full scholarships to children from low income families and also children in receipt of Disability Living Allowance.

Founded 2010

  • Mission statement

Little Actors strives to ensure that access to the arts is a right for all children and not a privilege for those who can afford it. Costs are kept affordable and scholarships are available. Professional standards are ensured by only working with highly trained and experienced actors who are members of British Actors Equity. Also by collaborating with organisations such as the National Theatre and The Lowry. Children are challenged and supported in equal measure. Teenagers are mentored and encouraged to volunteer. Community involvement is promoted through appearances at local events.

  • Aims

Little Actors Theatre Company aims to:

    • To make access to the arts possible for all children regardless of background or ability. This is through the provision of scholarships.
    • To provide high quality provision by only working with professional actor/facilitators and collaborating with prestigious organisations such as the National Theatre.
    • To involve and mentor teenagers
    • To promote involvement in the community through performances at local events such as the village fair, Christmas celebrations and The Big Lunch etc.
