Faith Welfare Trust

We provide financial and strategic support to an Indian charity operating in South India, which runs a boys and a girls home for orphans or children from very poor 1-parent families, and a school which gives a free English-medium education and daily lunch to poor children from local slum areas.

Founded 1987

  • Mission statement

Our aim is to give destitute children in South India a good start in life so that they can escape the poverty trap and go on to help and support their wider families as they grow up. We provide a secure, stable, loving home where they are provided for and given a good education until they are ready to go out into the world equipped with the skills that will enable them to find good work, and a school where they can access a high quality education and daily lunch without paying the usual fees.

  • Aims

    Faith Welfare Trust aims to:

    • Promote the welfare of poor and vulnerable children, through provision of children's homes.
