222 Ministries International

222 Ministries is a Christian charity that works with Farsi-speaking people in the Middle East region. We are involved in building churches, training leaders, production of media to support churches and humanitarian support especially for those who have suffered persecution as a result of their faith

Founded 2002

  • Mission statement

Our mission is to raise and develop a new generation of servant leaders in Iran, released and empowered to fulfill the call on their lives; leaders who will establish churches and influence the nation of Iran at every level of society. 222 operates through four central themes:

    (I) Church Planting is core to our operation, with churches in 17 countries and over 50 cities in Iran. Churches grow through teaching, training and mentoring, encouraging and supporting Christian believers and training leaders. 222 has planted churches in 12 cities in Turkey with Christian refugees from Iran.
(II) 222 Media engages Christians and the wider population in Iran.
➢ 222 Internet provides websites and social media, providing safe communication, and embracing individuals otherwise isolated from Christian fellowship.
➢ 222 TV (SAMA TV) broadcasts Christian TV programs for Farsi-speakers via satellite, addressing children, young people, families and those suffering a range of addictions or life issues, as well as providing theological teaching.
➢ 222 Publications provides printed and digital resources to Farsi-speakers.
(III) Theological Education provides training for leaders in Iran and elsewhere. It is conducted via our online Bible College.
(IV) Humanitarian Support. 222 helps those persecuted for their Christian beliefs in Iran who have to flee and seek asylum, mainly in Turkey. It supports Christian refugees from conflicts in Iraq and Syria with food, utilities and medical care.
