Arts For All

Arts For All is a highly creative charity serving the disadvantaged people of East London. We run weekly art therapy sessions to engage people of all ages from diverse cultures and backgrounds and those with special needs. This is one of the most deprived areas of the UK, some 85% of the families are unemployed and many have English as their second language. Through long term support, Arts For All builds confidence, , helps people achieve their goals and changes lives for the better.

Founded 2001

  • Mission statement

To advance the education of the public in all aspects of art in particular, but not by way of limitation, by running workshops and clubs in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and the surrounding area

  • Aims

    Arts For All aims to:

    • To build confidence through creativity! We work with vulnerable & isolated adults & children. By care, support & creativity we aim to see their confidence & self esteem grow.
    • Raise aspirations. Many of the families are living with unemployment, apathy and low aspirations. We encourage children to take part; to be involved, to access school every day and be positive.
    • We aim to teach new creative skills. We know that an element of creativity can be life changing. We run exciting, colourful, welcoming, inclusive creative clubs. We have seen lives turned around.
