KES supports education in Kenya, by providing scholarships and support to significantly disadvantaged bright, pupils to be boarding students at Bahati Division Academy (BDA) and other Kenyan schools.

  • Mission statement

    Trust aims (extracts):

    To advance the education of gifted, talented, disadvantaged children in Kenya who would, otherwise, receive no education, by awarding scholarships, maintenance allowances, grants at BDA, or other school, university or institution of higher education.

    Providing an education, including: the study of music or other arts; undertaking travel in furtherance of education; to prepare for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment.

    To favour the teaching of moral purpose and to ensure that no school (or its pupils) shall benefit if the school teaches or preaches any fundamentalist religion, or code, in conflict with the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights (1948) or the Convention of the Rights of the Child (1989).
