Farnham Maltings

Farnham Maltings is a cultural centre, based in a beautiful industrial building in south west Surrey. We exist to encourage the people of Farnham and further afield to participate in, shape and understand the world in which we live through the arts. We host crafts makers, artists, 6 resident theatre and dance companies (producing and touring regionally, nationally and internationally, run a successful community engagement programme supporting our core ethos; making the arts accessible to all.

    Farnham Maltings is a creative charity that works with the artists and communities of South East England to encourage everyone to make, see and enjoy the best cultural activity possible.

    We believe that the arts help us to make sense of the world, bring people together, articulates new ideas and improves lives. By encouraging people to participate in the arts, as audience and makers, we aim to foster a healthier, happier and more cohesive contemporary Britain.

    • To improve the quality of life of local people through engaging in cultural activities.
    • To increase the number of people participating in and enjoying the crafts
    • To improve the range, quality and audience for independent theatre across the south east
    • To increase the international market for English independent theatre.
