HIPZ provides high-quality health care to over 300,000 people in Zanzibar, Tanzania. We currently focus on maternal and child health, mental health support, and non-communicable diseases. We build on the statutory responsibilities of the government to put in place accessible, appropriate, and sustainable services. Our unique approach is a simple yet effective method of transforming healthcare in a resource-poor setting for hundreds of thousands of people living in poverty on the island.
