Charity information

Rottweiler Welfare Association

Originally formed in 1981 we aim to help as many Rottweilers in need of assistance as we can. We operate nationwide and try assist anyone that contacts us for help. In order to do this we require ongoing funding which we raise in various ways. The funding is required to pay large Vet bills and kennelling bills, since we do not own our own kennels. We attend as many shows, carnivals, fairs etc as we can, with our charity stall.

Founded 1981

  • Mission statement

To Rescue abandoned and neglected Rottweilers and help those who are unwanted and provide all necessary care, treatment and rehabilitation and to assess these dogs for adoptability and find suitable homes for them. We are the only Welfare Organisation for Rottweilers recognised by the Kennel Club.

  • Aims

    Rottweiler Welfare Association aims to:

    • To help as many unwanted and abandoned Rottweilers as we can.
    • To acquire the appropriate funds to do this to the best of our ability.
    • Ultimately, we would like to own our own kennels as this would obviate the need to use boarding kennels and, therefore, be enable us to channel the money paid to kennels owners back into RWA.
