Catalyst Dance And Drama Group Limited

Catalyst delivers arts based workshops in Music, Dance, Drama, Film Making, Digital art , painting and creative art. Catalyst delivers it's workshops to young people aged between 12 years and 24 years, (others ages are accepted on negotiation between Catalyst and participants needs)
Catalyst holds regular performance events.
Catalyst participants will be young people from BAME and socially disadvantaged Backgrounds from the Liverpool 8 and surrounding areas

  • Mission statement

    The project aims to:
    Introduce young people to drama, dance and other arts skills in order to discover their own creative potential;
    Give young people a space for independence whilst promoting an affective experience linked to broader positive attitudes and behavior beyond the artistic activity.
    Relate their own creativity to their role within the group, local community and a national perspective;
    Make their own experience, lifestyle and culture the subject matter of arts activity and performance, thus giving young people a voice within contemporary society at a number of levels;
    Offer a supportive space where young people can experience the benefits of working cooperatively.
