Hull & East Riding Breast Friends

Foundered in 2005 we are a small charity run by people who have been affected by the disease. We offer inspiration and encouragement by promoting a positive approach to living with the disease, providing a range of services and activities. These include: Patient Gift Packs, Wig Bank, Bra Bank, Buddleia Complementary Therapies, Breast Awareness, Dance Class, Craft Club and Drop In. Our support services are open to ALL affected by the disease. We rely on donations and fundraising to support us.

    Our mission is to help create a supportive environment for those affected by breast cancer, by promoting a positive approach to living with the disease, offering encouragement and inspiration. Our vision is to develop a long term strategy for the development of HER Breast Friends as an organisation, offering real solutions for those affected by breast cancer in a positive and supportive environment by promoting awareness of the available relevant support and advice networks serving Yorkshire and Lincolnshire; raising funds for breast cancer research and treatment and helping to create a positive view and environment for all affected by breast cancer. Every member or visitor will feel welcome and valued. We aim to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. We promote laughter, happiness, self-esteem and we will move the group forward with confidence. All our services are open to everyone with priority given to All affected by the breast cancer.     Hull & East Riding Breast Friends aims to:

    • Promoting awareness of the available relevant support & advice networks service Yorkshire & Lincolnshire. This includes our Breast Awareness Campaign which is important for both men and women.
    • Raising funds for breast cancer research & treatment. As a Charity we also under take fundraising in support of causes concerned with breast cancer.
    • Helping to create a positive view & environment for al affected by breast cancer. Of all our aim this is probably what the Charity is best known for. We offer a range of services and activities.
