The Liverpool Irish Festival has become one of Liverpool’s leading festivals, and enjoys a prominent place in the city’s cultural fabric. It works with a wide variety of partners to deliver a vibrant, innovative, annual festival which attracts a sizeable audience.

    The Liverpool Irish Festival celebrates the links between Liverpool and Ireland and highlights the significance of Irish traditions, music, literature, theatre and art in defining Liverpool’s culture and status as a great European City. We will deliver an annual Festival, which will: maintain Liverpool’s link with Ireland, give voice to generations, and celebrate our heritage.

    • The advancement of the arts of music, drama, literature and the plastic arts, in particular but without limitation to the generality thereof those arts originating or developed in the island of Irelan
    • The advancement of the education of the public in these arts by the encouragement of their performance and display.
