Dogs’ Friends is a small, independent charity rescuing and rehoming around 200 dogs every year across the Bristol, Bath, Cheddar, Wells and Clevedon areas.

  • Mission statement

    The charitable objectives of Dogs' Friends are twofold:

    1) to relieve the suffering of dogs in need of care and attention, and, in particular, to provide and maintain rescue and foster homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of dogs,

    and;

    2) to rehabilitate dogs with behavioural issues that need correction towards finding their forever homes; to educate and help potential adopters to manage their new dog's behaviour and settle them into their new homes.

    Dogs' Friends aims to:

    • To find homes for hard to rehome dogs and to patiently rehabilitate them until a suitable home can be found.
