Tigers4Ever is a small wild tiger conservation charity working to give wild tigers wild futures. Tigers4Ever has community focussed projects in India which seek to address the daily issues faced by wild tigers and those who live with them. Our projects include: Anti-Poaching Patrols; Education projects; Equipment for Forest Patrols; & the provision of permanent wildlife waterholes to reduce man-animal conflict.
Tigers4Ever's mission is to halt the decline of wild tiger populations by helping people living on the periphery of tiger territories; reducing man-animal conflict; via anti-poaching measures; & by equipping the forest patrols protecting wild tigers in India. Tigers4Ever works with local communities & the Forest Department to build a future where people live in harmony with & have an enhanced understanding of tigers. Tigers4Ever seeks to ensure that the communities who live with wild tigers have a vested interest in the long-term survival of wild tigers through its community focussed projects. Tigers4Ever has representatives in India year round; & UK based Trustees visit India annually to review conservation work progress and assess future needs.
Tigers4Ever aims to:
- To promote the preservation of the tiger species in its natural habitat, its value to the forest and eco-systems, and its protection from extinction for the benefit of the environment and public.
- To assist in the relief of poverty, sickness and in the advancement of education in the Bandhavgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, and in other rural and forest communities in India.
