Doncaster Deaf Trust

The provision of Education, training, care and support ( delivered in: a nursery, a school, a college & a care home) to children and young people with a range of disabilities classified under the umbrella term 'Communication Deficit Disorders. ' This includes: Downs Syndrome, Ataxia, Fragile X Syndrome, Cohen Syndrome, Coffin Lowry Syndrome, Duane Syndrome, Gushers Syndrome, Genetic Deafness and Hearing Impairments, Asperger's Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Conditions.

    Doncaster Deaf Trust aims to:

    • To provide a safe, caring, nurturing and modern learning environment
    • To provide the best quality teaching across the entire educational curriculum for children and young people aged 0 - 25, plus specialist education apt to the range of disabilities
    • To provide the best & most appropriate resources & specialist support for the full range of disabilities catered for, including qualified clinical specialists: Audiologist, Speech Therapist, SRN
    • To provide up to date, modern and safe residential accommodation, fully DDA compliant and appropriate for the range of disabilities catered for
    • To place the needs of our children and young people at the centre of all we do.
