The SEED Project works primarily in communities where unemployment, ill health and hunger are high, and opportunities, hope and education are low. Our focus is on empowerment rather than aid, and our aim is for the long-term sustainability of these communities (i. E. Reducing dependency on national and/or international donors).

Mission statement
To facilitate holistic community development in the socially and economically disadvantaged communities of Southern Africa, empowering them to be better able to reach their full potential, to identify and help meet their needs, and to participate more fully in society. To enable community groups to do the same, thus ensuring that the work is sustainable.

The Sustainable, Ecological And Economic Development Project (The SEED Project) aims to:
- Provide training to local community groups, as requested, to improve their livelihoods and income generation capacity.
