Cuan Wildlife Rescue

We rescue, care for and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and birds, with the aim of releasing them back into the wild wherever possible. We aim to advance the education of the public in the care and rehabilitation of wildlife. We undertake and assist others in the field of wildlife rehabilitation.

Founded 1980

  • Mission statement

Our mission is to do everything we can to help protect and preserve Britain's wildlife. Most of the cases we see though our doors are due to humans and our impact on their environment, so therefore we have a duty to put things right when they need us! We receive over 10,000 calls a year and take in over 3,500 animals and birds, to provide this service and to run the hospital costs over £180,000 per year. Every penny raised really does help to meet the continuing costs of medical care, feed costs and running of the hospital.

  • Aims

    Cuan Wildlife Rescue aims to:

    • To raise funds to help towards the everyday running costs of the hospital which costs over £180,000 a year to run.
    • To raise funds to purchase equipment to improve the facilities here in the hospital, with the ultimate aim of improving care and treatment so that we can release animals back into the wild.
