We believe that everyone should have the unique opportunity to discover, explore and experience something new.

That’s why, for over 80 years we’ve helped young people and schools, families and friends, travellers and individuals to explore, learn and relax the length and breadth of England and Wales.

    To inspire all, especially young people, to broaden their horizons, gaining knowledge and independence through new experiences of adventure and discovery.

    Vision: Reaching out and enhancing the lives of all young people. To move towards this vision, over the next three years, we aspire to reach one million young people per year.

    YHA England and Wales aims to:

    • To help all, especially young people of limited means, to a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside and appreciation of the cultural values of towns and cities.
    • To reach out and enhance the lives of all young people, with the goal of reaching 1 million young people by 2017.
    • To inspire all, especially young people, to broaden their horizons, gaining knowledge and independence, through new experiences of adventure and discovery.
