Dockland Sailing Centre Trust

Established in 1989, we are a charity with the aim to provide watersports - sailing, kayaking and windsurfing - to promote health and wellbeing. Our 300-strong Youth Club catering for children from 8 to 16 years of age, meet twice weekly. During school holidays, 400 children attend our activity weeks every year. We also receive school and youth groups. For adults we have nationally certified courses in sailing, kayaking and windsurfing, and we charge minimal rates for use facilities.

    Docklands Sailing Centre Trust is a charity committed to providing affordable watersports access to all in the community. We aim to encourage and promote health and wellbeing of the individual and the community through watersports namely sailing, kayaking and windsurfing. By providing programmes, courses and activities around these activities, we strive to instil qualities of good sportsmanship, discipline, excellence in performance, teamwork, integrity and reliability, so they become productive citizens living in a positive community.
