  • Mission statement

    Social Work – Community Care
We concentrate on visiting and caring for the housebound and elderly. This is very regular, and includes help with pensions and food delivery. We have been asked to take on more clients.

    Social Work – Youth Work
Sexual health counselling as well as some personal mentoring has taken place. A few single mothers have been assisted.

The Summer Project Consortium – Bude, Cornwall
The Awards for All Lottery supported us, and we worked with our partners in the Consortium, especially St. George’s Youth Club. 36 young people and staff had a wonderful time. (Separate report and pictures available on request). There will be another trip for 36 young people and staff to go and experience similar activities undertaken at Bude, in Norfolk during August 2016.

    Family Support
We are able to help several families and a number of individuals with personal support; small grants; clothing and household items. We referred families and individuals to other agencies as appropriate.

    Literacy Support
We have maintained resources and equipment and assisted a number of individuals.

    Other Support Services
As more and more families and individuals come to us for support for the first time, we can provide vital information and signpost to other support services that our families can use. This can be local, regional or national.

  • Aims

The Hanworth And Feltham Project aims to:

    • The Hanworth & Feltham Project believes that by our work, we help relieve some of the pressure that our families face in their daily lives. We provide vital time and space in families’ lives.
    • We believe that time and space helps strengthen the family unit to support parents in raising their children.
    • We believe all children deserve the best possible opportunities and that, by our work with the provision of grants, we help extend the boundaries of what is possible.
    • In terms of the elderly, the new part of the Project aims to improve the quality of the individual’s life and for them to enjoy their years with self-respect and dignity.
