We facilitate discussions between Doctors, Veterinarians, & Researchers by sharing information regarding vector- borne illnesses from the fields of human & animal medicine, a One-Health concept.
We do this by hosting educational symposiums, whereby internationally recognized tick-borne disease specialists visit the UK to present their extensive knowledge and share clinical expertise. Crucially, our work encourages, supports, and provides a significantly important educational platform.
The objects of the CIO charity are:
1. To protect and promote good health among persons suffering from vector-borne diseases in particular, but not exclusively, by raising awareness of the public at large, in particular through the provision of conferences, information and support.
2. To advance the education of the public in general, and the medical and veterinary science professionals in particular, in the subject of vector-borne diseases, and to promote research for the public benefit in all aspects of that subject, and to publish the useful results.
