The Voices Foundation

The charity’s projects combine two main elements:

• Musical Foundations – the development and progression of children’s musical skill, knowledge and understanding through singing
• Choral Inspiration – providing the chance for children to apply their skills and develop as musicians in their own right through choral singing

Founded 1993

  • Mission statement

Mission statement: To enable all children to realise their full potential through a singing-based music curriculum, and to influence national perception of the vital importance of music in education.

Our ultimate aim is to ensure that every child, irrespecitve of ability, means, background or education, has access to a high quality music education through singing and the appropriate use of instruments. This is done by giving all class teachers the skills and confidence to teach music as they teach other foundation subjects.

    We transform children through singing.

  • Aims

    • To provide and promote a method of enhancing music education and personal development for children and teachers in primary education.
