Charity information

Lancashire TAAG Autism ADHD Group

The charity provides specialised multi sports activities for its service users and is run by TAAG Team volunteers.
We all volunteer on a weekly basis, giving up to 10 hours per week to support the children and young people who attend weekly /monthly activities.

Founded 2012

  • Mission statement

We support families, children and young people with Disabilities, Autism, ADHD or communication requirements.

We provide event days out and a wide range of multi skills in disability sport.

We are now looking into having our own base due to our expanding members, to offer much more accessible activities for all children and young people and adults in a safe and understanding environment.

We as a Charity would like to provide 'Sensory World,' for disability access in Chorley & South Ribble as there is a huge GAP in provision for these areas.

  • Aims

Lancashire TAAG Autism ADHD Group aims to:

    • Raising money by doing a Tough Mud 5K mud fun run on 25 March 2017. We have TAAG team of volunteers and TAAG kids raising funds for supporting child/young people and adults with disabilities.
    • Its our 5th Year Anniversary and would like to celebrate, share awareness and fund raise to help with costs to find a venue for TAAG.
    • Autism Awareness Day 2 April 2017 We would like to raise awareness in mainstream schools. Get everyone involved to have a wacky hat day along with contribution of 50p.
