  • Mission statement

    We are an organisation of women supporting female survivors of any form of sexual violence - rape, assault or child sexual abuse - whether historical, recent or current. We offer befriending, counselling face-to-face or on the phone, telephone support, support when going to the police/court/health appointments/form filling, regular self-help/support group meetings, support to non-abusing friends and family of survivor, talks/training, support to other organisations, a part-time youth out-reach worker and a part-time Asian out-reach worker

  • Aims

    Rape Crisis (wycombe, Chiltern And South Buckinghamshire) aims to:

    • To Support Women Survivors of Rape, Sexual Assault and Childhood Sexual Abuse and to help them to regain control of their lives and support them through any changes or re-adjustment in their lives.
    • To eliminate discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, disability , sexual orientation or religion.
    • To reduce the level of feelings of isolation, degradation and depression felt by women survivors in order to relieve mental and physical distress.
    • To raise the general understanding of rape, sexual assault and child sexual abuse through education, training and research. To offer a Independent Sexual Adviser Service.
    • To undertake preventative work, aimed at the elimination of sexual violence against women. Also to liaison and co-operation between statutory agencies who are working with female survivors.
