South London Refugee Association

South London Refugee Association provides advice, support and information to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants in South London. We work alongside families, adults and young people, many of whom have experienced trauma and loss, to help them to build settled lives and positive futures for themselves here in the UK.

Founded 1991

  • Mission statement

Our mission is to relieve poverty and distress by assisting and supporting refugees and migrants, primarily but not exclusively those living, working or studying in South London; refugees who are outside their country of origin through fear of persecution, whether or not they have been granted asylum, and vulnerable migrants who find that their needs are not catered for through mainstream services.

  • Aims

South London Refugee Association aims to:

    • To provide support and positive activities for unaccompanied, asylum seeking young people to help them cope with past trauma and realize their potential.
