United Kingdom Disabled Golf Union (ukdgu)

Enabling and encouraging disabled/impaired people to take up, stay and compete using golf.

Founded 2016

  • Mission statement

    1. Encourage more disabled/impaired people to take up golf.
    2. To provide financial assistance to stay playing golf.
    3. Put a competitive nationally recognised structure in place in the UK for disability golf.

By using the sport of golf we aim to increase exercise both physically and mentally for those who wouldn't normally get out. Golf also encourages greater social interaction and increases well being.

Give golfers and target to achieve. Make the structure acceptable for a Paralympic bid.

  • Aims

United Kingdom Disabled Golf Union (ukdgu) aims to:

    • Get more disabled/impaired golfers registered on a national basis to prove golf is worthy of Paralympic inclusion.
