REACH is a charity specialising in 'Hippotherapy' and other equine therapies, which uses the movement of the horse to help in the rehabilitation of disabled children and young adults.
REACH will cater for all ages (1 years onward) and for a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, down syndrome, developmental delay, spinal cord injury, brain Injuries, autism, learning disabilities and mental health disorders
Our mission is to provide high quality assessment and rehabilitation programmes, using trained horses to provide treatment for children suffering with physical, mental, social and/or learning disabilities.
We use our clinically led approach and specialist centre to offer a unique combination of Physiotherapy, Hippotherapy, Equine Assisted Learning and Pat Therapy (animal petting).
We aim to become the leading Centre of Equine Therapies in the South East of England
REACH. aims to:
- •Provide high quality assessment and rehabilitation programmes using our trained horses to give a treatment strategy for adults and children with physical, mental, social and/or learning disabilities
- Create a clinically led specialist centre offering a unique combination of physiotherapy, Hippotherapy, Equine Assisted Learning and Pat Therapy (animal petting);
- • Run as a non-profit organisation and will be a registered Charity with CIO status;
- • Take into account families on low incomes and in receipt of benefits. In these circumstances, reduced prices will be offered. The Charity is adaptable and accepting to everyone.
