European Alliance for Human Rights in North Korea

We work with North Korean exiles and strategic partners to develop and implement targeted strategies for change, which are mindful of North Korea’s realities.

Founded 2014

  • Mission statement

We work with North Korean exiles to deliver a new North Korea for the North Korean people. Our work focuses on the physical and psychological separation of the North Korean people from the North Korean state. As this separation occurs, we aim to build a new North Korea.

  • Aims

European Alliance for Human Rights in North Korea aims to:

    • To work with North Korean exiles and strategic partners to raise awareness of the unprecedented and ongoing human rights violations in North Korea.
    • To work with North Korean exiles and strategic partners to develop and implement targeted strategies for change, which are mindful of North Korea’s realities.
    • To work with North Korean refugees in the UK to provide the support they need to integrate and to harness and grow their potential for leadership roles for when North Korea changes.
    • To empower the North Korean people, inside and outside of their country, by providing a platform for their voices and a means for their agency.
