Two thirds of our clients are 80 years old and over and have multi-disabilities. Our 200 volunteers provide car transport to hospital; home and telephone befriending; DIY and gardening; computer training and grocery shopping for the housebound. We have six peer support social groups. 60 Not Out; Stroke Support; handicraft; Hayfield Over 60s; Chat and Play and Shoparound which takes clients to various markets in our own minibus. This is done by 5 part time staff and 17,000 volunteer hours given.
