Community Focus Inclusive Arts

Community Focus has over 38 years of experience in providing a wide range of creative art workshops to all members of the community especially those affected by any form disability, age, sex or race. We help groups in most need in a total inclusive way and can tailor our workshops to meet each individual's needs.

  • Mission statement

    Community Focus mission is to be completely inclusive to all members of our community and to provide a wide range of creative art through music, visual, performance clay making to groups who are disadvantaged or discriminated. Our work helps those with physical/learning/mental disabilities; elderly with dementia; young people with mental health issues and children with severe educational needs and groups comprising single sex and race/religion.

  • Aims

    Community Focus Inclusive Arts aims to:

    • To provide creative art workshops to adults with learning, physical and mental health disabilities. To reduce isolation, increase confidence and wellbeing.
    • To deliver creative art workshops to older people with dementia and/or mobility issues by going to their care homes and other community settings. To help develop social skills and improve well being
    • To deliver creative art workshops to young people aged 16 - 25 years who are experiencing mental health issues. To help these young people develop confidence and improved mental well being.
    • To deliver creative art workshops to children who have a range of special needs - autism, learning disabilities or behavioural issues. To help each child to develop their confidence and social skills
    • To deliver creative art workshops to specific minority or excluded groups - girls/women; ethnic faiths/cultural groups and ethnic backgrounds. To develop confidence of being part of our community.
