The Sparkle Foundation

The Sparkle Foundation was set up to create brighter sustainable futures for people around the world. Following the success of Sparkle Malawi, a community based organisation in Zomba which provides education, medical and nutritional support to hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children in Malawi, Africa, the aim is to provide the tools and resources for other young people who want to make a difference to replicate this model in communities and countries worldwide.

Founded 2012

  • Mission statement

Create brighter sustainable futures for people in need around the world by working with local communities and young people, who are striving to make a difference.

This will be done through education, medical and nutritional support, volunteers and sharing of skills.

  • Aims

    The Sparkle Foundation aims to:

    • To eliminate malnutrition in all of the children we care for (5,000). Our pilot study of 200 has already succeeded in 12 months.
    • To reduce our runnings costs by 50% and become self sufficient.
    • To replicate our flagship model in another community.
    • To create a movement of young people, coming together and making a difference.
