    Llangattock Community Woodlands is a small environmental group in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Our Mission is to achieve sustainability both on our social objectives and environmental objectives. LCW focus on three elements in order to achieve this:-

    2. Assets – Volunteers and staffing
    3. The environment
    PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
    a. Wood Fuel - Renewable energy project requires woodland management skills which respect the environment and provide a sustainable renewable energy resource
    b. Green Crafts – wood craft product from woodland management provides volunteers with an activity which is sustainable and fun
    c. Bees and Trees – honey and associated products are prepared and sold and specialist management provides for pollinators in a woodland setting

    ASSETS - VOLUNTEERS & MEMBERS
    LCW has a strong, core volunteer base with the added benefit of members who want to understand or support our activities. Volunteers are actively involved in our outputs and members support our objectives. We prioritize volunteer recruitment and getting to grips with what our members require and how they interact with the developing charitable organisation. Our website is be used to keep members and volunteers updated as well as the Annual Report.
    Volunteers require skilled management with administrative support such as volunteer induction, health and safety, insurance and record keeping. We measure the impact of our volunteer support for those moving into employment or
