Habonim Dror

We are a national youth organisation working with 10-22 year olds running peer-led informal educational activities. We aim to develop leadership skills, encourage volunteering in local communities, run lunch and after school clubs and run half term schemes, residential weekends and holiday camps (up to two weeks long). Each year over 1000 young people benefit from our unique and engaging activities providing opportunities for personal and social development in a safe and nurturing environment.

    Habonim Dror aims to fulfil an activities mission statement: Habonim Dror activities exist to create a consistent environment which inspires, and is inspired by, Habonim Dror values, through a structure of empowerment, self-realization, reciprocal learning and social activism.

  • Aims

    Habonim Dror aims to:

    • Habonim Dror shall have three pillars which form the basis of its beliefs, being Socialism, Cultural Judaism and Zionism.
    • To develop young people to become passionate young leaders for their community, and to become passionate for their surrounding social environment
    • To encourage young people to become socially moral, and outstanding citizens in their community through informal educational activities
    • To encourage all of our members to become involved in, and initaite and lead social action projects as a way of helping others around and helping others around them
