To support people with life shortening illnesses, their families and their carers to live as well as possible for as long as possible, extending through to bereavement, primarily within the communities of North and West Norfolk and parts of North East Cambridgeshire but also in surrounding areas.

    To support people with life shortening illnesses, their families and carers, to live life as well as possible for as long as possible, including into bereavement. Our approach encompasses support for health professionals through education and peer support.

  • Aims

    The Norfolk Hospice aims to:

    • providing palliative care services which reflect relevant quality standards and which address identified needs of individuals and the community we serve;
    • promoting and developing services which reach those with life shortening illnesses;
    • developing a close working relationship with NHS Norfolk, and the new commissioning bodies;
    • working in partnership with other agencies in the voluntary and statutory sectors to secure a wider range of services which best match the needs of the population
    • developing organisational capacity to provide a firm foundation from which to extend existing services and develop new services in order to fully utilize our new purpose built hospice at Hillington
