Community centre for the over 50s living in the borough of Enfield. Providing classes and activities to keep people healthy, remain independent, meet new friends, warm and well fed, providing services such as hairdressing, chiropody, health trainer and IAPT, free blood pressure checks, advice and practical help.

    An independent charitable community centre for the Over 50s of Enfield. Encouraging confidence and wellbeing, enhancing skills and teaching new ones, a place for people to meet and make new friends.

  • Aims

    Ruth Winston Centre aims to:

    • Provide more classes either free or subsidised for our members on low income so they can join in and remain healthy, regain confidence, gain strength and feel safe, recover after hospital stays.
    • Reduce isolation for those housebound or lonely by providing weekly telephone calls, transport and free meals to encourage them to come out and meet people, gain confidence and find support and advice
