Contin Community Trust

The Trust own and manage local recreational facilities (the local village hall and surrounding grounds) in a highly rural part of the Highlands of Scotland. The Board of Directors work closely with the local community to provide solutions to local issues using the village hall as a hub to deliver services and promote community cohesiveness

    CCT Mission Statement: 'To manage and maintain local high quality affordable facilities and encourage community interaction through local community activities and events. '

    Constitutional Business Aims:

    1. The provision of recreational facilities with the object of improving the condition of life for the public of all ages primarily resident within the designated neighbourhood.

    2. The provision of management and maintenance of such recreational facilities.

    Contin Community Trust aims to:

    • To promote community activity and enhance social equity thereby strengthen our fragile community especially during times of adversity
    • The provision of recreational facilities with the object of improving the condition of life for the public of all ages primarily resident within the designated neighbourhood.
    • The maintenance and management of the above facilities especially in regard to providing local services
