Bowel Disease UK

We raise money for direct research at St George's University Hospital in London for better treatments and possible cure for Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and Bowel Cancer under Prof Devinder Kumar. We have donated almost £200k to research to date and have two very exciting projects underway, one of which could change the way Bowel Cancer is treated worldwide and save the NHS millions of pounds ever year! This is all achieved with volunteers, we do not have any paid staff!

    To raise awareness and funds for research into Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and Bowel Cancer. To discover new drugs, better treatments and possible cures for these debilitating conditions.

    Bowel Disease UK aims to:

    • 'We want to study the relationship between various types of food especially animal proteins and gut microbiome (bugs in stool) in patients with Crohn's disease.
