Young Gloucestershire supports young people (11-25 years old) who are facing some very difficult times; whether it be a disruptive home life, caring for a family member or coping with a mental health issue. Young people turn to us for help and we offer them practical ways to find confidence and develop the skills they need to get on track and to move into a job, education or training.
Young Gloucestershire’s vision is for young people to have the confidence motivation and skills to improve their lives. Our mission is to achieve this vision by creating opportunities that educate, inform and inspire.
Young Gloucestershire aims to:
- To offer a range of programmes designed to help young people gain confidence and increase their skills and knowledge so that they can take the next positive steps in their lives.
- To help young people to deal with the challenges they face in everyday life. Advice on employment and housing to budgeting and relationships; we support young people to find solutions.
- To support young people to make a positive contribution through development projects, volunteering and youth clubs training and supporting volunteers from the wider community.
