Charity information

Home-start Richmond Upon Thames

We recruit, train and support volunteers with parenting experience to visit families at home and offer them friendly and confidential support. We also organise social activities to reduce families’ isolation. Families are referred by Health Visitors, GPs and Social Services due to issues with post-natal depression, mental health, disability, domestic abuse, bereavement, housing and finance, multiple birth and more. Support helps parents to cope and prevents families from reaching crisis point.
