Artrix

Since 2005, Artrix has changed the landscape of artistic provision in Bromsgrove and surrounding areas. It is an award-winning arts centre (What's On Worcestershire Readers' Award for Best Small Venue in Worcestershire 2016 – People’s Choice) with an outstanding programme of theatre, dance, cinema, live music, comedy and arts skills workshops; serving all sections of the community. Artrix is home to resident theatre company, Outspoken and a fantastic in-house and outreach youth programme.

    Artrix is committed to presenting a high quality and diverse programme and providing a home for regional artists, organisations and promoters. In addition, the organisation is dedicated to providing a wide ranging programme of education and outreach activity with a particular focus on marginalised and vulnerable young people.

    Artrix aims to:

    • To champion excellence in all we do, receiving and making the highest quality work and creating a sustainable, financially model so that the Artrix many continue and thrive for many years to come.
    • To grow our programme. Key strands include our family offer, festival activity, new talent, children and young people's participation, inclusion, hard to reach, experimentation, digital technology.
    • To complete necessary refurbishments and scope an exciting extension to our building to support with our ambition for excellence.
