NLTSG is a small national charity. It supports people living with HIV for 5+ years. It organises 4 retreat weekends a year to provide a safe space for people to share and build support networks.

  • Mission statement

    NLTSG was founded in 1992, and incorporated as a charity in October 1994 (charity no. 1040586). In 2015, NLTSG became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (charity no. 1160307). In all this time, our aims and objectives have remained the same. Our mission statement is as follows:

    The National Long Term Survivors Group is a user-led organisation for people who are living long-term with HIV.

    We promote positive living by facilitating peer support, challenging isolation and empowering people to build networks.

    We are passionately committed to the equality, diversity and human rights of all people living with HIV.

  • Aims

    National Long Term Survivors Group aims to:

    • For the public benefit, the relief of physical, mental or financial distress or hardship caused by HIV, or HIV-related conditions, amongst those affected by such condition...
    • The advancement of public education for the public benefit in all matters which are related to, or believed to be related to, living with a positive HIV diagnosis.
