Charity information

PUSH is a small voluntary organisation that works in the field of learning disability in Perth & Kinross. Under the principles of Person Centred Planning. We work with adults from 16 years old upwards, supporting them to fulfil their potential in a variety of ways. This service is not replicated by any other agency in Perth & Kinross. We have 80 service users, 60 active, of who attend groups on a weekly basis. All our projects work towards inclusion for people with learning disabilities, and are thus similar in aim. Yet, all our projects are very different in method. They vary from providing accessible information, support to develop literacy & numeracy to stimulating friendships and opportunities in the community

We are managed by a Board of Directors and advised by people with learning disabilities to ensure that the information and support offered meets their needs. Lastly, we offer training and awareness sessions to community groups, schools and organizations.
