Honeylands Children's Charity

Honeylands Children’s Charity supports Honeylands Specialist Child Assessment Centre for young children (0 – 4 years) with complex special needs. We provide Music Therapy and a Toy Library, specialist equipment, and support for parents and staff.

  • Mission statement

    To secure money and funds for families and children (birth to 5 yrs) with additional special needs who live in Exeter , East Devon and Mid Devon geographical areas and who attend Honeylands Specialist Assessment Centre.
    To run a Music Therapy Programme and a Toy Library , and otherwise provide support for the children and their families that is not available through Statutory Agencies.
    To achieve this by way of securing contributions, donations, legacies and grants, and to accept gifts of equipment.

  • Aims

    Honeylands Children's Charity aims to:

    • To provide support for families and children attending Honeylands Specialist Child Assessment Centre not provided by statutory agencies, for the benefit of young children with additional needs.
    • To provide Music Therapy to groups and individual children; run and maintain a toy library; purchase specialist equipment for physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy
    • To secure money and funds by way of contributions, donations, legacies and grants and to accept gifts of equipment in furtherance of (i) above, and to meet the running expenses of the Charity.
    • To keep the public informed about the work of the Charity.
