7th Dudley Scout Group

We were formed in 1919, We receive no central funding and survive on the goodwill of volunteers, donations and fundraising. We are now the only Group still running in the Dudley Central area.

    Mission Statement
    The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
    The Method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.

  • Aims

    7th Dudley Scout Group aims to:

    • Our current HQ built mainly by parents and Scout's in 1966 is home to three sections,meetings a week, Beavers 6-8 yrs, Cubs 8 -10 yrs, Scouts 10 -14 yrs, all with healthy waiting lists to join.
    • Our aim is to try and increase the number of children we take in, giving them the chance to become part of the biggest youth movement across the globe, to grow in confidence and have fun.learning.
    • Our ultimate aim is to become self funding to do this we need raise funds to complete repairs and restoration work to our HQ which is now nearly 50 yrs old and help fund Jamboree events for members.
