Honington and Sapiston Village Hall provides a facility which promotes community cohesion, reduces rural isolation, social activities, volunteering opportunities and improves users quality of life

  • Mission statement

    Honington and Sapiston Village Hall provides a community facility which: promotes community cohesion for all groups regardless of age, race, gender and sexual orientation; addresses rural isolation in an area with little public transport; and provides an affordable venue used by low income families,(many of whom do not have their own transport), volunteer groups and self-funding groups. The objectives for the new hall are to :
    • reduce rural isolation by the creation and establishment of community based activities and services to suit all community needs;
    • provide improved access to leisure, health, cultural, sport and social activities by providing a community amenity that will enhance the lives of local residents;
    • improve opportunities for Community volunteering by facilitating groups needing volunteers resulting greater participation by local residents;
    • improve the quality of community life, health and well-being of the community due to provision of services.
