  • Mission statement

    Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse & Rape Crisis Centre (OSARCC) supports female survivors across oxfordshire through a range of holistic services. We provide non-directive, non-judgmental, confidential, free support to women who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives.

    We also offer support to supporters of survivors, training to professionals, and outreach and education work in schools. We campaign to raise awareness of sexual violence, and to address vicitim blaming and myths that surround sexual violence. We firmly believe that abuse is never the fault of the survivors.

    Our vision is for women and girls to be free from the fear, experience and stigma of sexual violence and supported when it does occur and our mission is to support female survivors of sexual violence, promote and advocate for their needs and work towards the elimination of sexual violence.

    Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse And Rape Crisis Centre aims to:

    • To provide a diverse range of effective services that meet the needs of women and girls in Oxfordshire who are affected by sexual violence
    • To raise awareness of the prevalence and impact of sexual violence and the needs for specialist services to support survivors
    • To challenge and change public attitudes about sexual violence in Oxfordshire and beyond
